WE ARE OPEN
Coronavirus Safety Precautions
We have implemented a safety protocol to protect you here at Auker Eye Institute:
Our staff will faithfully follow the CDC guidelines in regards to sanitizing our exam rooms, registration area, and waiting area. Extra time will be allotted between appointments for thorough disinfecting of rooms, equipment, and all points of contact.
Patients are scheduled appropriately to avoid a group gathering. Only patients with scheduled appointments will be allowed in the office. Please Do Not bring family and friends with you into the office at this time. In addition, we have modified our spaces to ensure patients can stand at least six feet apart while waiting. We also have sneeze shields in place for your protection. We have eliminated our waiting room.
Screening Prior To Entry
We take temperature and screen every person, including our staff, for symptoms and risk factors prior to entering our office. If you have any symptoms such as fever, dry cough, sore throat, fever, chills, shaking, muscle pain, headache, new loss of taste or smell, call us immediately and we will reschedule your appointment. Anyone exhibiting symptoms or has a temperature will not be allowed in the office and we will reschedule your appointment.
We now require all staff and all patients to wear a face covering mask while in our office. Please bring yours or it will be provided. We appreciate you abiding by our safety guidelines to keep our staff, other patients, and our community healthy.
